The Loss Mitigation Division is located in Glendale, California, and serves the entire state under the direction of Steven M. Dunsmore, Senior Vice President - Loss Mitigation Manager, and Dean A. Kirchen, Vice President - Loss Mitigation Assistant Manager.
Steve and Dean have a combined tenure with Stewart of almost thirty years: an unprecedented amount of time in the title industry for one company. The Division serves all counties in California and through contact with other Stewart Title offices, can assist in the issuance of TSGs for Arizona and Nevada.
The Loss Mitigation Division was one of the first operations in the state to offer multi-county TSG service. The vision, which becomes ever so apparent today, is to provide TSG products in many different locales, not just in the area where the service provider or foreclosing trustee is geographically located. Stewart Title has set a technology standard that is being emulated by others today.
As the technology leader for Stewart Title and the industry, the Loss Mitigation Division is able to provide unmatched service and procedural know-how by taking advantage of computers fax machines, printers and the Internet. The result, Stewart Title maintains the number 1 position in Los Angeles County and has held top rankings in other counties for over five years.
Years of specializing in the foreclosure process enables the Loss Mitigation Division to create streamlined applications which match the customers' computerized systems, effectuating the timely delivery of information (i.e. recordings, hard copy documents, etc.) in the nonjudicial foreclosure process.
